COVID-19 UPDATE – Extended Returns
Just a little update from the Attic . . .
Firstly, we just want to say we hope you are all OK and keeping safe and well in these worrying times.
We have had a lot of people asking if we are still open so we though we would send you a little update.
Yes, we are still open. It is just me and Mr Attic, aka, Amanda & Steve and we are very fortunate (if that doesn’t sound too flippant) that we live two minutes away from the new Attic base. We are now based on a farm and we see no one else while we are here.
We have systems in place with Royal Mail to hand over any parcels without having to have contact with the delivery drivers so no one is put at any risk. So, as long as Royal Mail still function then we will remain open
We are anti-bac-ing the hell out of everything and hand sanitising all the way.
Also, we are now EXTENDING OUR RETURNS PERIOD. Any orders place during this time can be returned up to 30 days from receipt. Once all this is over and we can return to some sense of normality, we will restart the 14 days returns period.
It does seem rather trivial to chat about fashion at this time but we are taking this time to have a flippin good stock take and list lots of samples and one offs so there are lots of bargains to be had and more added daily.

We aim to ship most orders within 3-5 working days but this might be slightly longer during busy times or for items that are on pre-order.
Delivery, once shipped, is usually 2 working days as we ship packages out on a 48 hour Royal Mail dispatch, but it might be longer in exceptional circumstances, or if it’s an international package (10-15 working days).
Please allow up to seven working days for your order to arrive before contacting us.
A signature is not required upon delivery. If no one is available to take delivery of the item, Royal Mail will leave the item in a safe place or they will take it back to the local delivery office for you to collect. You will receive an email confirming dispatch of an item within 24 hours of us sending your item. (please check your spam and junk folders just in case!)
We really hope you love your items when you receive them but if for any reason you do need to return something, you can do so subject to the following conditions:
- It is within 14 days of receipt
- The item has not been worn and all tags, belts and sashes etc. are still attached
- The item is not marked, covered in animal hair, has no make up traces and no deodorant marks and does not smell of cigarettes, perfume etc.
- Please carefully fold the item with care and if possible, wrap it with love in the tissue paper it arrived in (if you ripped it in the excitement to see your items, we understand)
IF AN ITEM IS RETURNED TO US AFTER THE 14 CALENDAR DAY TIME SCALE A RETURN WILL NOT BE POSSIBLE AND THE ITEM WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU.
We only refund the cost of the items returned, we do not refund postage costs as we have a free returns label available.You must you our returns label to benefit from the fress returns service.
Please fill in the invoice that will have arrived within your package, clearly stating that you would like a refund. If you do not have the paperwork that came in your parcel, please just include a note with your name, address and order number and instructions on what you would like us to do. Enclose this invoice within your returning package and send it back via your local Post Office. We recommend you use the free returns label which can be created using the link below. The returns address can also be found below. Please note – returns are only free within the UK. International customers will have to pay to return an item.

If an item is in any way faulty please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can assist you.
If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or item, then please return your original item for a refund and place another item via the site. As a fast moving fashion brand this ensures you get your items as quickly as possible while we have the stock.
We will always try to process your return as quickly as possible but please allow 7 working days from receipt of your parcel in the warehouse to action a refund and up to 7 working days for an exchange. This may take longer during busy periods. Unfortunately we don’t confirm individual returns.
Please note once a refund has been actioned via PayPal it can take up to 5 working days to show in your account.
