Delivery & Returns



Delivery

We aim to ship most orders within 2-3 working days but this might be slightly longer during busy times.

Delivery, once shipped, is usually 2 working days as we ship packages out on a 48 hour Royal Mail dispatch, but it might be longer in exceptional circumstances, or busier times such as Christmas.

Please allow up to seven working days for your order to arrive before contacting us.

A signature is not required upon delivery. If no one is available to take delivery of the item, Royal Mail will leave the item in a safe place or they will take it back to the local delivery office for you to collect. You will receive an email confirming dispatch of an item within 24 hours of us sending your item (please check your spam and junk folders just in case!).



Click and Collect

We now offer a click and collect service so you can call in and see us at the Attic and collect your parcel in person. Please select Click and Collect at the checkout and we will then email you once your order is ready to collect. Please note, we are only open 9am – 4pm Monday to Friday and 9am until 1pm Saturdays for collections.



Returns

We really hope you love your items when you receive them but if for any reason you do need to return something, you can do so subject to the following conditions:



  • It is delivered back to us within 14 days of you receiving your order
  • The item has not been worn and all tags, belts and sashes etc. are still attached
  • The item is not marked, covered in animal hair, has no make up traces and no deodorant marks, fake tan stains and does not smell of cigarettes, perfume etc.
  • Please carefully fold the item with care and return it back to us, ideally in the paper bag we sent it to you in.


IF AN ITEM IS RETURNED TO US AFTER THE 14 CALENDAR DAY TIME SCALE WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCEPT YOUR RETURN AND THE ITEM WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU AT YOUR COST.



We only refund the cost of the items returned, we do not refund postage costs. You are responsible for the returns cost of your parcel, you do not need to pay for a signed for service but we do highly recommend you get tracking details from the Post Office.

Please make a note on the delivery note indicating which items you are returning for a refund. If you no longer have the delivery note that came in your parcel, please just include a note with your name, address and order number and instructions on what you would like us to do. Enclose this invoice within your returning package and send it back via your local Post Office. The returns address is:-

Faulty Returns

If an item is in any way faulty please contact us via email at help@elsiesattic.co.uk and we will sort it ASAP for you.



Exchanges

We do not offer an exchange service. If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or item, then please return your original item for a refund and place another item via the site. As a fast moving fashion brand this ensures you get your items as quickly as possible while we have the stock.

We will always try to process your return as quickly as possible but please allow up to 5 working days from receipt of your parcel in the Attic to action a refund. This may take longer during busy periods. Unfortunately we don’t confirm individual returns but you will receive an email once the refund has been processed.

Please note once a refund has been actioned it can take up to 3 working days to show in your account but it is usually within 2 hours.
